"Ram Leela" is a Hindi film directed by Anurag Kashyap. It was released on June 15th, 2022. The movie is written and produced by Siddharth Sengupta and Vijay Sethupathi.
Ram Leela revolves around two main characters - Rami Leela (Karan), and Raju Balamath (Varun Dhawan). Both of them are fighting for their people's survival against the royal families of Madhya Pradesh. Their goal is to get rid of the family that has invaded their home, Jhansi. However, they have to sacrifice themselves first!
Ram Leela was directed by Akshay Kumar who made his debut as an actor with this story. In 2020, he received a Filmfare Award for Best New Actor for the same role. He also won awards for his performance in KGF 2.
Ram Leela cast includes Varun Dhawan, Karan Malhotra, Vidyut Jammwal, Bhumi Pednekar, Akanksha Singh among others.
